Did you come here from CDDF?

There was a Rikki on CDDF that I recall. Her circumstances were different, older with a wife that was very ill. After her wife passed, she was living pretty much full time as herself, and I think she spent much of her time enfemme even before. Don't know if she ever fully transitioned or not. When I saw your name on this forum I thought that perhaps she had joined here, but it became apparent you were not the same person fairly quickly.

Yes, I was on the CDDF for awhile. Known as Jessica3pdq back then. Turned into a chaotic mess in the end.

Not me. I found this site after searching the net I lurked on a few others for a while before joining here. Actually until now I'd never heard of CDDF.

No, this is my one and only - I did look at a few other fora but this one was stand out to me, - sensible, practical, caring, informed, all things I'm not so this had to be the one to join.

Yes, I was on the CDDF. Even posted there a bit as who else? CJ. Then I became intrigued by this one member over there, by the name of Mzzz Beauty. I just followed Beauty here. Beauty eventually became an Admin of this forum, before she changed her name to Gracie. She and I grew quite close--chatted every day, and all that jazz.

I'll fess up: at first, I found the CDDF to be morbidly entertaining. Still, after a while, even flame wars lose their appeal. Those trying to say something of substance get crowded out. Well, I needed to hear things of substance (and, too, I felt I might have something of substance to say) so, without much ado (and with even less regret), I migrated to this here haven. And never looked back.

This is home, and has been so for seven and a half years. I saw intelligence here, and warmth, and compassion, and goodwill. These qualities have more staying power than lurid pettiness. R.I.P. CDDF.
