I'll never forget hurricane Agnes in June 1972. Part of the wall of the C&O canal broke, and below the break, the canal ran backwards!(at least until the canal ran dry).
I'm glad that those in harm's way have been OK so far...
Would appreciate an update now and then, though the worst may already be over and the winds may only be tropical depression strength.

She was a tropical storm by time she got here. Lots of power outages and probably a lot of stuff to repaired but nothing catastrophic. Seems like except for evacuees folks had the sense to stay home.
I'm not sure, but I think I've been camping in New Hampshire is worse weather. Of course given the weather in the White Mountains that's pretty much a non statement.
