Sorry Caroline but Ren Faire=Renaissance Faire. I am a reenactment actor in Renaissance Faires in the state of California here in the US. I am sorry for the confusion. As for offical in the reenactment circles around here the kilt is more for theater to seperate the Scots from the English. While it is historical reenactment I do not play a historical figure. I have changed my character many times over the years I have been doing faires. I started out a gaurd to a Clan cheif and then moved on to a roaming Scot and cannon fodder. To a privater and now a Mercanary. That is where the name I use online comes from. I am Gaven MacLaren of the clan MacLaren and my services are for sale to the highest bidder.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons. As you are crunchy and good with chocolate!

Hi Gaven,

Thanks for explaining that to me; you McLaren's , or mhic Labhrainn as we say in the Gaelic, were always a warlike lot.

On a serious note, it sounds like a lot of fun this re-enactment business; long may you continue to enjoy it.

I still haven't seen your pics, I'm sorry to say. I got through to the site you pointed me at, registered and everything, but when I click an any of the other links on the page I don't get any result, for some reason. Still, now I know where it is, I can try again later.

Kind regards,

Caroline.

Hi Gaven,

I eventually got to see your pics. Silly me (it's that dumb blonde syndrome again), I'd forgotten to log-in after registering!

I left a cheeky message for you, <-->

Take care,

Caroline.
