Hi leftyrainbow,
Before going any further, I'd like to say that I'm intrigued by your name, and would love to know what it means; if that's being too intrusive, please ignore me, I won't be offended.
The last thing I want to do is to scare people away. I think that everyone who's taken the trouble to visit this site, and register, needs to be here, and I have no problems with that. I also defer to the better judgement of those, like yourself, who found that the current system works best, and that membership went up as a result. So, despite being against de facto 'positive' discrimination, I am prepared to acquiesce to the status quo, even though I believe that any form of discrimination is wrong in principle.
I look forward to 'hunting-down' your posts, leftyrainbow, and I thank you for doing me the honour of inviting me to PM you if I wish.
Kind regards, and I'm sure we'll meet again (I look forward to it, in fact),
Caroline.

Caroline,
I agree with your statement that any form of discrimination is wrong.
What I was trying to explain was that the decision with the SO section was not meant to be discriminatory.
If you do look up some older posts you can see that we are pretty much a democracy (with the moderators and site owners having final say but really giving the people what they want and in the way they would like to be treated).
I'm willing to bet that if the majority of members (both SO and CD) had a problem with a certain portion of the forum, the moderators would step up to bat and see what they could do to make everyone happy.
When I first posted here they were in the process of changing a rule on the board and it was done by vote.
Hope to hear from you again also, sweetie
Lefty
P.S.- My forum name is actually just part of my email address.
I guess it can mean anything you want it to..lol!
I'm lefthanded and kind of on the liberal side , does that help ?

I am glad for the SO only area, as I can truly see the way the true ladies think so it can help me see maybe what my better half will think when I truly tell about Gelinda. If it had us's in there it would not be the same think I truly believe. I am just glad we can see what they are thinking.
