Hi all,
Hmmm...

Time for the NRA to update its motto: "Guns don't shoot people; people--and dogs--shoot people." Go figure.
While I certainly don't condone what this man did (far from it; his was an act of barbarism), I'd prefer to see an animal put to death--humanely--than to see it live under the thumb of a cruel owner.
If you're not mature and responsible enough to share your life with an animal, don't get one. If you have one and you can't take care of it, give it to someone who can.
Like Sharon, I fume over this kind of insensitive behaviour.
While I won't be saying, "Yay for the puppies" (after all, a killing tool is a killing tool, regardless of who--or what--pulls the trigger), I will be hoping this canine marksman and his surviving littermates will find a good and loving home.
Maybe the gentleman with the shattered wrist will be feeling the pain of his cruelty for a long time to come.
