It may be better than I thought

Hi girls,

As most of you know, I recently put up a site at myspace.com to start networking and meeting people. For some reason I have had it in my mind, perhaps from it being drilled in there, that I am not a desireable person. Well in just a few days, I have had some of the most uplifting things said to me and about me that give me great hope for the future.

I am totally in the open and in fact my page header says Elizabeth and is a picture of me "en femme". I have only contacted a few people so far because I am only interested in openminded people about my age, who love kids.

I really liked Beauty's idea of letting some GG introduce me to the person who I will eventually fall in love with. In the meantime, I would make some GG friends that I could shop with, or watch a movie but not have to have a romance or expectations. One that could include my kids. That way I won't feel alone, and in a rush to get into another relationship.

I will not tell you who said it, but am posting just a few snipits so you can see what I mean. The conversation is light and the identities of the persons saying are not given, so I don't feel a need to ask permission to use it here.

"And The crossdressing thing is you. I never thought for a minute that you were not a w0man.
that your name was not elizabeth, in fact , when i was reading your message, whene you were talkimg about, not wanting to date etc. I was thinking ok. so she's bi.
but doesn't want to date, good , no harm in being friends."

If you read my site, I make it clear several times that I am a male crossdresser. So this was kinda neat.

Then I got the following message.

"I'm curious. You clean up pretty good as Elizabeth. And you are a good looking Rudy. What gives? What was the event the you first dressed up as Elizabeth for? "

It was nice to find someone who thinks of me as a total person. And finds me attractive regardless of how I am dressed whether in boy mode or girl mode. It was totally uplifting when I really needed to feel like someone could want me again.

I am not really looking for a date, and I make that clear, but having some female friends would really be nice. So it would seem my future is not so bleak. Because..... Well? The next time I fall in love, I am going to fall in love with a friend.

Comments welcome

Hey girl,

That's what it's all about! Meeting someone who accepts and appreciates you for ALL OF YOU. (--)

And even though technically we are CDs, a GG telling a CD that she looks at and thinks of her as a woman - well, that's one of the greatest compliments that she can give. @@9@@
Live it. Love it. OWN IT.

Hi Elizabeth,

You come across as a very decent, caring, accepting human being who understands that having friends often comes from being a friend. I think that is what many people sense in you, and that at least partly accounts for the positive responses you have received.

I admire that a lot, yet I also think any CD has to understand that there are some very mean people out there. Through no fault of our own, we sometimes run into highly negative people. I guess we have to learn to treasure those who accept us as we are, and not let the hostile people (who often have issues of their own) get us down.

Best of everything to you! =D>
Take care,

Jamie Ann

Hi girls,

Julie Ann, Beauty,

I agree that mean people are out there, but having been in the business world I have been exposed to them countless times. No matter what , it is hard to call someone an "a$$*ole" when they are always smiling and waving at you. Mean people get their thrill from the responses the get. If you respond with kindness and sympathy for them, it usually shuts them down, to look for a new victim. It's like tickling someone who is not ticklish. It gets boring really fast.

Thanks for your concern and I will keep my gaurd up.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Elizabeth, I tried to get to your site, but it showed a" gateway timeout," which means a whole lot to me. I'll keep trying.. I find it very intresting that you keep pushing the edge , just when I think I am catching up to you , I find you have moved the edge just a little farther. I can't keep up to you at all. Not that you should slow down, I need to speed up alot. What your doing about your loniless is remarkable. Taking life by the horns is contagious. Thanks you for being here, letting us know all that you are doing for yourself and your kids.... Kristen
