I got to see it in bits and pieces over two nights, first on Tuesday, then during a late-night repeat Wednesday. I'm not a big fan of reality TV, but this one's got potential. It'll be interesting to see if this is a one-off, or they'll renew for more. I was a little disappointed that they eliminated so many (4) before they really got to do anything. The least ladylike in appearance might have ended up doing the best at other aspects.

I wonder if they'd let a real crossdresser in? It'd be quite a reversal of the old "wolf among the sheep" scenario.

When the judges are deciding the winner of the $250 thousand at the end of the series, one of their key questions is supposed to be, “What have you learned as a woman that makes you a better man?” It will be interesting to see if the men do change for the better in any way over the course of the show. If the events the producers have planned are treated in a reasonably dignified way, without too much disparaging humor, and if the men claim to have benefitted from their experiences, then the show probably will help our cause, even though that is not its primary purpose.
Take care,

Last night's episode (Ryan's drunken behavior notwithstanding - glad he was dismissed) was a very powerful one. It wasn't Albert winning the "dude pass". It wasn't the group of them going shopping or bowling. It was David's testimony that really opened my eyes.

When David said that he felt like "the ugly duckling", my heart went out to him. And when he had a tear in his eye so did I. This is something that I know we have ALL felt at one point or another in our lives. My heart totally went out to him.

It was another reminder that a woman's true beauty is not based on the color of her lipstick, how her hair looks, her dress size, boob size, or how much her shoes cost. A woman's true beauty comes from within her heart and her soul. @@9@@

!!!yes!!! Lorna,

I can see that the game is going to hinge on who everyone can manage to get before the judges at dismissal time. So where I expected one of the prettier ones to win in a cake walk, it's not going to be that easy.

It appears, however, that Judge Debbie will most certainly not want to vote out the pretty ones if she can help it.

Hi all,

Until He's A Lady the only reality shows I followed were the first 2 seasons of WWF/WWE Tough Enough.

This is the first time I'm taping TV shows since Brini Maxwell.

Add me to the list of those who agree with Lorna.

I agree Lorna, I think he got a glimpse of how a girl feels when she is rejected, I don't think (I hope) he was feeling sorry for himself, he gained some insight into how some girls must feel. And I agree, I don't think looks are going to be a prime consideration and as most of the "guys" have said, for $250,000.00 it will become very "cut-throat!"
