Fireworks controversy

Hi all ,

Many thousands of dollars has been spent on new years eve fireworks displays in Sydney and Melbourne , due to the current Asian disaster our community is split on wheather the fireworks should have gone ahead.

Some claim the money should have gone to aid , but the fireworks were purchased months back so its too late.

Some say it is immoral to party while a large part of the world suffers.

MY OPINION:: yes ! the money could have been better for aiding the victims but it has already been spent so we cant change that.
The show goes on , we cant stop living and the victims wouldn't want us to stop.
What is important is helping those who are left in this devistation , the support and donations from the world is like nothing I have ever seen before
