Need some Help: Can anyone name this tune?

Post by Lorna »

I need to find this song for a video project, but I don't know the name of the song!! #-o

It's a very catchy familiar old tune, perhaps from an old TV show? :-k

I Found It!

Post by Jadeanne »

Lorna,

I found it!

It's JAVA, with a listed composer (per allmusic) of Freddie Friday with the best known version by Al Hirt.

It sounded to me very similar to some Al Hirt instrumentals, and I found it at

http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/ ... LO,00.html

Allmusic lists 110 albums/CDs with a song of that title, most of them performed by Al Hirt.

Good luck on your video project!

Thanks Jadeanne!! (--) "Java" by Al Hirt. Got it!! =D>

Thanks, Kerri & Pauline for your effort... sorry the link stopped working... thanks nonetheless!! (--)

The client is quite a wacky individual, and requested that song for the musical background, but did not know the name of it. Oh, this project is going to be a riot!! rotf

Side note: who remembers the game show, Name That Tune?

"I can name that tune in 3 notes!" Ah, memories...
