Evidently, four, count 'em four inmates at a prison in Minnesota were undergoing treatemnt for GID (that's Gender Identy Disorder) these four were (and the news did not say, but would assume) at various stages in their transformation ( male to female). Seems the state of Minnesota in their bid to cut costs cut this medical procedure from the budget. The four guys sued the state for discrimination. The case went to Federal Court and was over-turned and the state must now continue to pay for the transformation!!!

Yeah!!!

That is definitely great news for the 'cause' - - sounds like that federal court has some intelligent justices sitting on the bench!!

However, I would not be the least bit surprised if the State of Minnesota is going to appeal that decision for a hearing by the Supreme Court. I hope they don't, though.

Did you see that news story on the web, Virginia, or on Fox's cable news?

That's great, but...

My big concern though is - I just hope that many TGs out there, desparate to transition but can't afford it, don't go out & commit a crime to get themselves in prison, all for the sake of SRS - paid for by the state.

Meanwhile, so many law-abiding TGs have to pay for it themselves. :?

Hmm....that's good news BUT....too bad they are in jail as this doesn't do much to help the cause of us law abiding TG's....instead plays along with society's view that TG's are where they should be in their opinion......locked up!

See you later ladies. I'm putting on my favorite red skirt and wrap top tommorow and robbing a Victoria's Secret. Boy! I bet those inmates would just love little Jeannie to death! OUCH! :)

Read about a transition in jail in the UK, I think it was, and the person has recently decided to transition back, all at the cost of the government. Something like £30,000, each time.
