I've had a long and happy life, and most things that I would put on my "bucket list", I've already done.

I've been to Paris; I've been to Tahiti; and many other fabled ports of call. I'd still like to go to Singapore and to Israel. I'd love to amble down the Champs Elysees en femme - but I know that's not going to happen. However, I am almost ready to parade down the main street in Sarasota.

I've never read all of "War and Peace", but I may get the chance shortly. We are leaving March 22 on a cruise from Miami to Barcelona, and I'll have 12 days in the lap of luxury with time to read "War and Peace" and maybe even re-read "Crime and Punishment" We'll have a week in Barcelona, then fly back.

By the way, CJ, your reminiscences of New York (posted elsewhere) struck home. As a born and bred New Yorker, I still love the city with all its warts.

Hugs,

Lydia
