Don't gloat too quickly; I have it from a sure source that, while working on David's privates, Michelangelo made an unfortunate slip with the chisel. Had to make do with what was left. :mrgreen:

There is an excellent full-size bronze copy of David in the courtyard of the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida.
Every once in a while some of the local citizenry petition to have at least a fig leaf in the appropriate area, but so far the pleas have been ignored.
Maybe it will take our esteemed Attorney General to make the coverup.
