One Wish....

That every person in the world would instantly know and understand their adversaries viewpoint, feelings, and pains at each and every encounter they have with someone that they don't agree with.

I think that would knock down a few notches the hatred in the world very nicely.

I beleive Shannon's intent was that you select something selfish, something for yourself. It is hard to do. But reach inside and tell us all what wish you would have for yourself, to benefit you, not the world at large.

OH! ...... No trickery, like saying that your previous wish does beneifit you. Tell us what you would want for your own needs, or wants.

OK, Elizabeth, I would have gone for the trickery answer, so you already cut me off at the pass. My wish is a simple one, and that is to tour the world playing music. I do not make a good tourist, yet I would love to experience other cultures. I'm happiest when I'm working, so...there it is.

Hi all,

I'm going to be a little greedy with my one wish for personal use -

I wish for my wife (diabetes, etc.) and I (arthritis, psoriasis) to both be cured of our ailments that require $#@%&*! medication so we would both feel better and have more energy. Some of our medications sometimes give us indigestion, and other side effects, plus medical appointments take up a large portion of personal leave, etc.

My wish is simpler and the least obvious.

I wish to be reborn with no inclination for being anything other than a full red blooded male.

I would be happier if I had never heard of transexualism & cross-dressing and the constant pain it brings.

to have a house in the country with garden which has mature shrubs snd trees, along with enough room for me to plant up a traditional cottage garden.

I wish I had better skin. Eczema, blemishes, moles, warts, infected hairs--I could really do without these things, or at least do with a lot less of them.

Actually, if you think about it my wish WAS for me, in a slightly boomerang type of way.

Less world hate, the more I can be myself.

Wether it's for yourself or not I think matters on the reason fore the wish. So therefore this one really is for myself.

Nice try, however you are still deliberately avoiding the theme of the thead. While your wish might end up benifitting you, the benifits to the rest of the world exceed it to the umteenth degree. When Shannon said

It is my beleif that he wanted you to select something that only benifits you, since he said "for YOU". However, if you are still not certain about this, than I would like to ask you personally, what is the one thing, that you would want, just for you? We all know you are an unselfish person, this is just a wish. Please humor me.

So what if the rest of the world benifits more than me?
It is the only realistic way for me to have the environment that I want.
