I get mixed up whether this post is about groupthink, leg shaving or patting each other on the back. Always feel there is a cult mentality about these forums -- but that doesn't keep me from voluntarily joining in.

As far group-or-groupie think itself...we are all part of it. Yes, you Daniel and oh my goodness, me too....as long as we are here.

Well I've never been one to back down from a good...ah...discussion, so no I haven't ever been intimidated from posting. As others have said, I don't always post because it would be a me-too post, or something I don't feel qualified to comment on, or I just haven't had time to check in on the forum.

I've certainly seen disagreements on this board. But if I don't talk about problems I've faced it's mainly because I've discovered they exist far more in our imaginations than in reality. Which isn't to say problems don't exist. Just that they aren't as widespread as we imagine.

It's not disagreements per se that are bad. In fact, they can be good. They force us to think things through. What is bad is when these disagreements turn into personal attacks, which I've never seen on this board.
