Hi, Claire - Welcome to Florida! So glad to know you made the transfer safely- and I hope your home in IL sells quickly so Cindy can join you here and enjoy your son and his family, too. :)

The warmer weather certainly is a bonus to the 'aches and pains' as one ages, although FL is not the place to be if you have a lot of allergies!! On the other hand, though, my asthma is better with the warmer weather.

The turtle vs the hare driving mode? You'll find that people do things a whole lot slower here, and you have already discovered they drive that way, too. Oh, yeah - they don't like to use turn signals, either - guess turn signals must have been invented the year *after* they bought their car!! LOL {The seniors push their shopping carts the same way they drive - so watch out!} :P

Now now, silver..be nice to our purple-haired seniors. Really though..they should make cars with lower dashboards.

SL and DeeDee,

I just returned from a week on Marco Island and I loved Florida. We had a great time and did notice the absence of blinking lights but perhaps we were blinded by all that silver, blue and purple hair.

Another year and a half and we will be spending a lot more time in the lovely "Sunshine State". Be sure you save some room for my lovely bride and me.

Hugs, Paige

Have a nice time in Florida. If you have some extra room I don't take up much space! My ex will never find me there and I could drive up to Virginia for 3 or 4 days to go shopping, cook dinner and watch a movie with that sweety Virginia! :) That would be so much fun. Hugs

DeeDee - I promise you, I really was being nice! I'm the youngest in a 55+ park (I've got a ways to go before I hit 55) - and the stories I could tell you about seniors!! Lower dashboards, turn signals, higher seats so they're not looking through the steering wheel while driving.... yep, the stories we could tell!!

Paige - Be careful on Marco Island, lots of "family members" live there, if you know what I mean! We'll be happy to save room for you and your lovely bride - you would be a welcome addition to the state, as is Claire and Cindy!!

Jeannie - Sorry to be the one to tell you, dear, but you're a day late and a dollar short: Virginia already has a girlfriend!

Virginia is spoken for? :( What's little B----- name! I'll take care of her!

PS. Virginia. Does she do laundry, iron,do the grocery shopping, clean house,do windows, cook and will do your nails like I would do? I would even make you a soft boiled egg and cut the toast into little strips so you could dip them in the top of the egg while it sits in it's cute little cup. Your favorite meal would be ready and waiting when you got home from work. I would detail your car,fix a flat, powerwash your deck and change your oil and filter. Dump her!You will never(and I mean never!) find a GG that will do all that. I think not! I'm waiting!

Hey girls, damn you make me blush!!!!! You are all so sweet!!! However, my test results are in on the type of flower I am : A wild rose, not easily domesticated, grows just about were ever she wants, requires very little tending, is pretty to look at, but be warned she has some very sharp thorns!
Love you all!

PS. My computer bombed on the chat last night and I couldn't get back on. Sorry to leave without saying goodbye to all of you. It was fun as usual. My ex Mini hates that I'm on this site and won't even look at it.. She thinks we are talking about weird perverted things on the chat. What a bonehead! If I even mention anything about crossdressing she completely ignores it. How sweet! She always makes me feel soooooo special! Hey. Her lose! I think she's mad at me because I have better legs and butt than she has. Eat your freaking heart out Mini!

Hi Jeannie,
You are such a sweetie!!!!! You make me blush and then when you blow all that sunshine up my skirt, well my panties get wet! As for how we look, I think a lot of us do look better than our spouses!!!!! First, we care, not that they don't, but some of them don't feel the need to put anything into their presentation. They know males may look, comes with the territory, but, touch, they know they have the power to "cut 'em off at the knees," so to speak! Throw into the mix "another woman" which they feel is not really another physical woman, but one that may look as good or better than they do. Well you create a "tempest in a tea pot!"
Keep the faith honey, and compliments will get you places you may never have been!
Love ya,
Virginia
