Lorna dear.
I really don't know how you manage as well as you do, given the amount of stress you have in your life? I have said it before and I will say it again, you must be one strong person.
If you continue to have to live with that amount of stress your health will eventually be affected. Please make time and find things to do that are pleasant for you that will relieve stress, and cut any one out of your life that gets in your way of doing that. Those who will not respect you for wanting to take care of yourself are simply not healthy people, and you really don't need them hon.
Your email is defiantly a good step in that direction.
My heart hurts for you.

Hey Lorna,
There are many gals here who can empathize, and/or sympathize with you. Stress in any form is difficult to manage. Trust your instincts, girl. True friends will be there when the dust settles.
Here are some thoughts on friends...
A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names.
A real friend has their phone numbers in her address book.
A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help
you clean.
A simple friend hates it when you call after she has gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it.
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps herself.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an
argument.
A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've
had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!
We care about you Lorna.
I hope everything goes well with the move. I, personally, have moved enough times to know what an unpleasant experience it can be.
Good luck.
Hugs,
Kyra

Remind me to never again complain about those friends of mine who were bugging me in March...
When they heard about my unfortunate episode, they were just as wonderful as all of you gals have been!
I guess a trumatic experience does help one put things into perspective. It's time for me to start focusing more on the positive side of things... they only were pestering me becuase they want my company... stupid job has been clouding my judgement of everything...
I am more fortunate than I have been letting on, and for that you all have my humble apologies. I have a wonderful network of supportive people, both face-to-face and right here in this forum. I would put my hand into fire for any one of you and I love you all...
