Aww, thanks for the pic...very cute :)

Moby is home now. She was really pleased to see us. She looks thin and tired , she's not eaten yet and hasn't for a few days but she looks better than she did yesterday. Now we have to keep her rested and still for her to heal well. Not easy trying to keep a lively young springer still, she's already jumped up onto the sofa twice :?

The vet gave us back the pebble she'd eaten...a very expensive pebble #-o

Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts, Moby appreciated them!

Love,
Curly :)

Heh, just keep that pebble out of her way! I can only imagine your reaction if she ate it again :S

Hi Curly
That's great to hear Moby is home and doing well. Marley has been depressed thinking about Moby.
Curly. Make sure you don't feed Moby dog food from China. Marley just passed a fried wonton and a spring role! Hugs.

Curly
So happy Moby is home. I have two doggies and I soooooo understand what your concern is. Btw...he's too cute. I used to say I was a dog owner, but I learned who owned who  Ya think they all go to the same school to learn that "mournful" expression to tear our hearts out? And to get extra lovin' and treats.
Best of luck with your buddy

Sorry that I’m late responding on this topic, been busy offline.

I am glad that your dog is home now, but not eating is going to be rough on ya.

I don’t know what diet your vet gave as instructions for your dog, but when I had a dog that wouldn’t eat, I would dip my finger in some chicken broth and let him lick my fingers at least he got some nourishment. I also did this for water, sometimes I would hold an ice cube in my hand and let the dog lick the cube, this seemed to help my dog, but I don’t know what your dog can and can not eat according to your vet.

What is pebble? Is that the same as saying kibble?

Pebble is a stone from the beach :) She is eating now...but only small amounts as the vet advised. Please Moby...don't eat any more foreign objects or we will have to have a zip put in :P

Hi Curly
Glad she's doing well but she and I are in the same boat. I have an appendix scar that looks like the Doctor used a chainsaw on me. My days of bikinis are over. There goes my modeling career! Marley says Hi! Hugs.

Hi Moby (and Curly :) )
Thats a proper scar you've got there, none of this woosy key-hole surgery for you =D> . Keep getting better and don't forget to look after Curly and the gang while you are at home relaxing.
Luv
Kay

We have four Springer Spaniel basset hound mixes that our daughter "blessed" us with when she came back to live with us for a few weeks and abandoned when she went back out to spread her wings some more. They were just about three months old and my wife only wanted one as a play mate for another puppy we have had since bout last June. All of his litter mates died due to them having a genetic form of mange mites, (never heard of it but that is what the vets say). We already had four house dogs before my wife and daughter tried to nurse him back to health and the only male in the original house dogs who isn't fixed yet was determined to enforce his alpha dog position on both of the new additions. Then our daughter brought her three which are all three girls and litter mates of the latest addition to our "children" and the war was on. We wound up restricting them to the hall way with baby gates, as they were always chewing up thing they weren't supposed to like T P kept out for their land mines, and shoes, cell phones, ect... They weren't to be out done, so they started eating the sheet rock walls and linoleum, and when that was gone, started on the wood floor beneath. We tried the "No Chew" spray, but they liked it. I wound up buying some jalapeño peppers and grinding them up with a hand blender and smearing around the holes as they appeared. This may seem extreme, but it worked. We intend to move them out side, but as we just moved back to Tennessee last September and Mother Nature had repossessed our property over the last ten years we have a lot of cleaning up on the property to make more space for the dog pins and need to build dog houses for their shelter. We don't believe in just letting them run free as they get in the road and wind up getting injured or killed and that breaks my wife's heart. And then there are other dogs that are already pinned up out side that they will have to deal with when we do move them out there. We have nearly two dozen all together. Personally I'd like to thin the heard, but then I only have to earn the money to pay for their food and occasionally dish it out when I'm in for time off. I love dogs as much s the next person or better, but that's just too damn many.
I hope that your "Child" pulls through her mischief and gets back to being her spunky self [-o<
