Good one Lori A!

Post by Jeannie »

Hi girls
Poor Hillary. Everyone blasts her for wearing pants suits. The real reason she wears them is quite patriotic. She likes the fitted jacket with a flaired bottom. She looks just like the Liberty Bell. God Bless America.
Unfortunately she's getting desperate for votes and needs more blue collar support to put her over the top. Her last rally was at a biker bar and she entered the wet pant suit contest.
Why do you think Bill is skirt chaser? I have to get back to work. Hugs girls.

I can't resist this one---Liberty Bell--narrow (minded) at the top and BROAD at the bottom. <-->

Since I DO NOT support any of the "people" for office, THANK YOU. I have been hesitant since I don't for I know how angry people can become when you talk about their favorite dog catcher and other political vermon.

Politicians make the best material.

Post by Jeannie »

Hi Roberta
The best source of jokes are our political leaders.Jump in. No one will get mad. It's a joke, not a documemtary Hon.
I hear George W Bush scraped plans for a Presidential library. They only needed one book case for his books and there was only one page ,tripled spaced of his Presidential paper.
He's going to use the private donations to build Barbeque World in Crawford Texas.
I live 25 minutes from Yale in New Haven and often visit the George W Bush memorial shrine they have in the courtyard of his old dormintory.
It has George's old Cliff's notes, cheat sheets and two empty cases of Bud Longnecks. It's awe inspiring Hon.
Remember what Charlie Chaplin said Roberta. "In the the end, everything is a gag." Hugs.

PS. Hillary is projected to win big in West Virginia. Great!
Did you know that the toothbrush was invented in West Virginia Roberta?
Yeah. If it were anywhere else it would of been called the Teethbrush.
I remember driving through West Virginia and got a flat on a back country road. I went to house and the owner let me use his phone.
He said"Hey Yankee. Would you like to meet my wife and my daughter?"
Roberta!...There was one woman standing there!

..rofl.. ..rofl.. ..rofl..

Beautiful and funny. Thanks for the laughter.

PS--I heard where GW Bush was going to publish a book about his years in the white House. It was going to be titled: EVERYTHING I LEARNED WHILE PRESIDENT.

By the way, it is 100 blank pages and cost $1,675,345.95 plus tax by the time inflation/recession gets done with his administration. hehehe

Age discrimination.

Hi Ladies
Senator McCain is now getting flak about being a frumpy dresser and being too old. He has one big advantage over whomever gets the Democratic nomination.
Senator McCain is able to campaign nonstop and show those young whippersnappers. Yeah Roberta. One word......... "Depends"

Personally, Jeannie, since I am NOT for any candidate, I would like to say this:

Clinton is going to severely hurt the Democrats by her refusal to throw herself behind Obama who is the choice of I think the majority of Demos. She is so much on her ego trip for POWER that she cannot see past the damage she is going to do. If she would surrender her people, right now, over to him, he would WIN the Presidential race hands down as a United Democrat party would stop the Republicans flat. But her greed and her hunger for POWER is blinded her. And, in my opinion also, she could take the #2 positon and probably be the next president after Obama because I honestly think someone will probably kill him because of race. (I'm not being racist--just speaking the truth as I interpret it.)

This is just my opinion about it all. I KNOW I am not for McCain as he is worse than any others.WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER WARMONGER!!! But that too is my opinion and, like my gunny sgt. in the military used to say: "Opinions are like A-holes, we all have them and everyone of them stinks!" hehehe

Have a beautiful weekend, sweetie.

Ummm.....staying out of politics here but I do remember as the Clinton administration was winding down and Bill and Hillary had their official portraits taken. I bet Hillary is the only First Lady to have hers in a pants suit. Geeesh, no matter what your shape there is a gown that can do justice. I'm sure she has a skirt or dress stashed someplace. BTW, while Floriduh was doing our weird things with the 2000 election, there were some suggestions that GW and Al Gore settle it with a beauty competition....ok, the gown part mighta been ok, but the swimsuit part...ewwww. Also the talent part was never mentioned for obvious reasons.

Gowns are good.

Hi girls
You can't beat politics for fun Roberta. All Presidential candidates have to have egos bigger than those flippers Tyra Banks calls feet.
You're right DeeDee. Hillary could look great. She had on a killer blue gown at the first inaugural ball and looked fabulous. I do think she is trying to develop some style and is getting professional help. She's attending PSA meetings,Pant Suits Anonymous to get that monkey off her back.
I heard Jenna Bush was upset with her Father at the wedding reception today in Crawford. He gave her a hug and got barbeque sauce all over her gown. That happens alot at Texas weddings.
I have to back down the shop to wash a press. No rest for the wicked.
Happy Mothers Day to all you Mothers out there. It brings back memories of my Mom,Jennie. I can still hear her sweet voice yelling "Wait until your Father gets home!" Hugs.

Fran
LOL...it must run in the family. Hillary is as attracted to the blue suit as Bill was to the blue dress.

Texas has the Barbecue sauce and Upstate NY its share of Spaghetti sauce which my sister in law spilled down the front of her wedding dress. It never did come out, I don't think that it will make much of an heirloom to pass on. Though I have noticed on the news that a new trend is to go mud sliding in their dresses after the ceremony.

Italian weddings.

Post by Jeannie »

Hi Fran
Being a Ginnie ,we're used to sauce stains. They even have special wedding dresses for Italian brides that are prestained with pasta sause(Gravy as the Guidos who came over on the boat call it.) " Why delay the inevitable? After a few vinos and Vermuth everybody is a freakin' mess.
You can always spot a non Italian Fran. They leave the same way they came in. Hugs.

Ladies, please stay on topic, which is Candidates Choice in Clothes, and keep politics out of the discussion. [-X Everyone here knows, or should know by now, that political (and religious) discussions belong behind closed doors in the Hot Topics section.
