That BMW is a great choice!! I just love that color too.

As long as we are talking "if I could afford it"...
How about this 2004 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish??

Jamie Ann, thanks for posting the photo of the "Dusk Rose" Thunderbird. Wish we had a dealer handling them here in Atlanta. The rear drive Olds Cutlass coupe, definately a girl car!

Only problem I have with the Corvette is that most of the people I have known that had one are no longer with us. :( Nor are their cars, if you catch my meaning.

Most everyone I know that had a Mustang is still walking.

Didn't really mean to post a downer but I've lost too many friends to those rolling coffins. -,,-
Brains are always an option that some people just don't seem to purchase with the Corvette....

And actually my other mode of transportation is a lot more risky than the Corvette... it is a Honda CBR 600, two wheels, 600cc's, 420 lbs and a whole lot of acceleration..... now that is a death trap...

It's down to four. Thunderbird (merlot with sand interior), Lincoln LS (vivid red or an ivory-gold), Mustang GT convertible (red-will wait for an '05) or Volvo C70 convertible (probably red as well)

kristens< I have been looking at the volvo's myself for use as a company car. I am disappointed in the gas mileage is my only problem with them. The VW have a much better gas mileage rating. I am looking at the Passat again as i have heard they now have the Diesel in them again this year. Gelinda.

Kristen,

I just LOVE the 05 mustang! I may end up with one myself.

Hugs,
Stef

Better get that Passat ASAP! A redesigned model comes out next year and my understanding is that the diesel will not be available until the year after. BTW, the mrs. has a jetta with the TDI and it gets 45 mpg. we had a diesel jetta before this one too. no complaints at all.

Alexandra, My Daughter has the Bug with the TDI and I ran it from Scottsbluff to Dallas on a 14 hour run. Got 54.8 MPG and a good 30 % or the time I was running over 80 and a few times I looked down when i got tired and was running over a 100 and the average for the trip was the 54.8. I have 3 more in the family my father, my uncle and my father in law and they all get from 48 to 54 all depending on transmission auto or manual daughter is manual. Rides great also. Gelinda.

Hi all,

The parking situation in Montreal and the price of gas in Canada being what they are, I'd opt for a Daimler Chrysler Smart car (coming to town in the fall). At under $US 9,000 and over a gazillion miles to the gallon, this is the car for this bohemian girl. :)

Of course, I'd have to want to get a driver's license, first!

Love,
CJ

Hi,
I have seen several BMW's that Sharon mentioned and they are quite
beautiful.

Last month going home from work, I saw a beautiful woman with a scarf
and a wide brim hat in a new yellow convertible thunderbird. I was
taken back. I still have that picture in my mind. I never see things so
perfect in Nebraska. She obviously was very happy and enjoying herself.
It looked like a commercial or a clip from a James Bond movie.

I went to a dealership out of curiousity and the price, well! It's not in my range. Maybe in ten years.

My practical side would love to have that Dodge diesel of Gelinda's or a
Ford Diesel 350. We currently have a 90 Chevy 1 ton four wheel 454.
I am giving way to much money to the oil companies and the middle east.

Bein' that I'm from the South and one of the remaining authentic Southern Belles, I vote for the Ford F150 Lightning 1/2 ton pickup. My Daddy would be proud and being well acquainted with his Darling Daughter, would know that it would have a Hepplewhite gun rack.
If there were no dreams or fantasies, the prospect for our world would be dull indeed.
