Hello everone , thought i post this it was passed on to me how scientific it is i can't say but it was a cheap try & it seems to be getting me a little more bang or mile/km for buck.
tip 1 : always buy gas in the morning as gas expands in the heat thus filling take with less fuel
tip 2: always fill take slow as gas fumes expand making the tank fill with more fumes than gas
tip 3: everyone probably knows drive a little slower & start slower from a light
tip 4: dont' idle longer than 2 mins in those drive thru or as i call drive & park
anyhow i be doing it for about 3weeks now & how noticed i was getting 50-75km more out of my gas . As i now expert in this stuff , iwear a blond wig so i just hope it works for you too .Maybe you can post if it works well for you too . I'm sure we all could use a little extra fem spending money.

There are more savings to be had.

Never fill up the tank till it's full, unless you are going on a long journey.. the heavier the vehicle.. the more fuel it uses. So usually for normal daily fill only upto half the tank.

at least once a week check the tires are upto their limit.. the lower the tire preasure the more fuel it uses.

never carry anything in the vehicle unessasarilly, or it weighs it down more, the more the vehicle needs to use fuel. (make up can be sooo much of a burden giggle)

only use the air con/heater (if you have one) when absolutely nessasary as that uses fuel.

Always drive correctly as "bursting from the line" can use up three times the ammount of fuel than pulling out correctly ect.

i'm not a driver but these ones i've picked up from here and there and it's not half saved the $$$.

If you can keep the top end at 50 MPH I have noticed a huge savings!

I drive a Honda Fit AKA a Honda Jazz in other countries. If I follow the 50 MPH regimen I get 44.2 MPG in my Honda Fit with city being my primary driving.

People tend to get upset with you following the speed limit and all! I DONT CARE! Those same people cant be bothered to use there turn signal!

Window tint help cut down on the need to AC use too!

I tinted my FIT with 20% tint and it stays cool in the buggy.
