There's a big flap over the Republican national Committee buying clothes for Governor Palin. That's fine with me. You know girls,it's better to look good than to feel good.
Sarah couldn't be out on the campaign trail in a her seal skin coat and muckluks now could she?
The RNC did issue a statement saying they will donate the clothes to charity after the campaign and Governor Palin bought off the rack like all we ladies do from Neiman Marcus($75,000) and Saks Fifth Avenue($49,000).

Sarah might portray herself as a fiscal conservative but she's is definately not a value shopper. I bought that same Louis Vitton carryon her daughter Piper was shown carrying, off the back of a truck in New York City for only 50 bucks. I had to wait to use it though until it cooled off.

That gorgeous $2500 short Valentino jacket she had on was fabulous. I picked up the same one from my cousin Vinny"The Bagman" Corbo for $75.00. There are advantages to being Italian.

I just sent Governor Palin an Email asking if I could tag along on her next shopping spree. Wish me luck ladies. Hugs.

Perhaps a physical break? Or better yet, a shopping brake? If she and McCain don't get elected, does she have to return the wardrobe? Might be backbreaking effort to separate her from the clothes, eh? She is well known in Alaska for using public money for personal travel and for staying at her home, and now maybe purses and suits as well.

PS: Virginia reminded me that over 80% of the men working on the Alaskan Pipeline wore pantyhose . . . and that's fact, not fiction!

Ummm, more like tights with a lot of cotton, if I recall correctly. Normal pantyhose were still too thin to be next to the skin in the layering for warmth, and actually transmitted the cold. Tights with a significant amount of cotton and heavier denier were warmer next to the skin and helped wick moisture during heavy exertion. One of my colleages, an archeologist, stands 6ft. 4 inches in ht., and couldn't find tights in a size that accomodated his bulk. He did, however, find silk longjohns (made for men in the arctic and Antarctic) from an outfitter's catalog in a large enough size, and that worked as well. Nylon was too cold.

Absaroka! Of course there are Ginnies in Alaska only they are undercover dressed as Innuits. However when they come into a business to collect protection money each week and their name is Angelo,that's a hint.

I feel for Senator McCain. I believe his campaign manager is coming up with these ideas from his room in The Institute for the criminally stupid.
First it's "Obama isn't ready to be commander and chief." Then they show little Barack at age 4 with a beret and assault rifle in front of the Black Panthers headquarters with Huey Newtown and Eldridge Cleaver on each side. Nice fro Barack!
Now their stuck with Joe the Plumber and It just got worse Lydia. Governor Palin is on the stump today talking about Chico the builder and trying to appeal to the average Joe in her $6000 dollar Oscar Delaurenta suit and Jimmy Choo heels. Nice. I like red. It's a power color.
Now she's even trying to make a play for the black and Gay vote with Willie the Pimp and Lance the interior decorator. Business is way off for Willie since the two parties held their conventions.

John McCain did have to step in and tell Sarah to back off on Louise the Lesbian. Dick Cheney is a better shot than Sarah and that's a touchy subject for Dick in a lot of ways,come to think of it Lydia.
