Hi Girls
I'm sure you were all wondering what George and Dick are doing in their retirement. I know I was. There is good news and bad news.
George canceled plans for a Presidential library and is building "Barbeque World" down in Crawford Texas. He also embarked on the lucrative speaking circuit for former Presidents. His first gig is at a stag in Hoboken New Jersey. It pays $43.00 bucks and all the ziti and meatballs he can eat. He lucked out on that one ladies.
Unfortunately Dick Cheney has run into problems. He was arrested for waterboarding his Lesbian daughter and shooting his dog,Reagan when he found out he was a Democrat. Old habits die hard. Maybe President Obama will pardon him.Who knows? You know how those Democrates are.
Condaleeza Rice is now doing product endorsements for Uncle Ben and Rice Crispys and Laura Bush still hasn't blinked. Creepy! Carl Rove opened a new business venture. "Carl Roves house of charm". He's cleaning up.
Scooter Libby is teaching ethics courses at Harvard and former Attorney General Gonzales was deported to Mexico for not having a green card.
Who knew?
I have to get going. Governor Blagojvich is going to be on Larry King. This guy filled the void left by George W. It's a gift from God. His hair has it's own zip code. Hugs ladies. I have to go check my pizzas.

Love
Auntie Jeannie

PS Remember,it's a joke not a documentary so don't get your panties all in a bunch. It's not my fault that Republicans are way funnier than Democrates. You try to think of an Obama joke. It's a rough one.

Hi Carol Ann
I'm fine. I'm making homemade croutons and baking some marinated chicken breasts at the moment. Life is good! I'm not here brooding and tossing Marley out the window. It just dives me nuts that our government always does the right thing after they try everything else first. It makes for great blogs and jokes.
One of my GG friends on MySpace just sent me a modified picture of Marley and I'm laughing. Half of my Kamikaze just came out my nose!I have to go check my chicken breasts. Hugs.

Jeanie,
How does one get a Kamikazee up one's nose? Fold up the wings and stop the propeller? Ouch! Keep it up girl, we need you to keep us all sane. rr

Whatever George and Dick are doing now beats the hell out of the current administration and Congress spending the country into the poorhouse. I recall the President saying that those spending stimulus money will be held accountable for improperly spending the money, one can only assume that does not include his unnecessary spending like his recent trip 2/3 of the way across the country to sign the stimulus legislation that could just as easily been signed in Washington, DC on his own desk at far less cost. I guess it all depends on your perspective.

!!!yes!!! It's "do as I say, not as I do" . . . typical of so many politicians, especially those that are currently in 'control' of both the House and the Senate.

It reminds me of something I read and some pics I saw comparing Al Gore's house against George Bush's place and the electrical use of both.

Hi, Leeza -

It's not only that the electrical and fuel use at the Bush's large Crawford compound is drastically less than that of Al Gore's much smaller residence, but so is the Bush's water usage.

I believe I've read that the Crawford compound is almost completely self-reliant (including food, if I'm not mistaken), and it was specifically built with that intention . . . long before Al Gore and others became so fanatical about the Global Warming 'religion' . . . but you rarely see the liberal media acknowledging those facts.

I would think that if Crawford really had a strongly green footprint that the Republicans would be trumpetting that to the world. Entirely self reliant in terms of energy would mean it's own windmill, hydro ecletric, or solar system, and if Bush made it work I am sure he would be using it as an example to beat up on the democrats with. It might be however that self reliant just means it's own fossil fueled generator or something similar, which is a different thing. I would think that more likely- out of the way places tend to be able to survive on stored fuel to run their own equipment rather than relying on a power line to bring in the energy.
