Hi Girls:
A few simple pointers.
Economy: The social arrangements that determine what is produced, how it is produced, and for whom it is produced.
Market-Oriented Economy: An economy in which most economic decisions are made by buyers and sellers, who may be individuals or firms.
Note: 1890: Alfred Marshall (1842-1924) "economics involves the study of people, as they live and move and think in the ordinary business of life."
Things will get better over time! If you have the time.....(???), the nature of things will change. Here in Florida we "walk on the other side of the street when it is raining." Any current investor in the stock market will tell you that they are down by 45% or so even in mutual funds. No one is protected from this global downturn.
I thought that I had it bad...but recently in "Portfoli" magazine, an article pointed out that in Zimbabwe, Africa, inflation last year was........
87,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.....Percent. Every 5 days the market price on a loaf of bread doubled. $1...$2....$4....$8....$16....$32... you get the picture!
As the Federal Reserve cranks up the money printing machine...we see the chance of inflation down the road. On the other hand, without the new money supply, there will be little to lend and get the economy going again.
You have to spend a little to make a little. You have to make a little to spend a little!
On a lighter note, we had a "Cold Snap" here in Central Florida in January and my super Wal-Mart is out of the "B" size, thigh-high stockings! Yes girls, even the boys ran out and bought some it was so cold
So I am waiting for a restock of my favorite thigh-high's !!! When they get in, I will buy 2 boxes...that should jump start the economy!
Hugs
Danielle Marie
