I am new here and is seems to me more of you girls use the Chat Room rather than post on the forum is there a reason for this.
I would be interested to know why.
Thanks for your answers.

I for one read all the post but only respond to some of them. Some of the responses are in fun some serious. I think that some of the girls either don't like posting or just enjoy chatting. I also see posts from girls that I never see in the chat room. I really think it is to each their own.
As in life we are each different and so it is in here. We each have our preferences.
Hope this helped.

I am in front of a computer all day, in a fast paced technical sales environment. By the time I get home, at the end of the day I am too burnt out to chat. I do occasionally chat on weekends, but most days the slower pace of the boards, where I can collect my thoughts, is a welcome relief.
To be honest, If it weren't for my gender identity issues, I doubt I would be online much at all.

I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.

The two are just ... different. It's like chocolate and vanilla, there's no real rhyme or reason for liking one over the other, and many people find their preference changes with a whim.
For me? I like both but I find posting on the forum feels more like standing on a stage. You can't really see individual people in the audience and you know that you have to put more thought into what you're saying because so many different people are listening, and there's someone recording for posterity. The chat room, on the other hand, is more intimate and relaxed. It's a crummy place to get an answer to a question, but a great place to unwind.
