Well, ladies, I got had!!!!! I should have known better, the stuff came from California! That was a dead give away, but no matter! #-o

I ordered some facial cream online, "30 Day Free Trial."

Here's the scam. First they send it to you and it is in some type of space age plastic that is virtually impossible to remove. They tell you on line that if you don't like it, send it back, with ALL the paperwork that accompanies it, within 30 days and no charge. When you receive it in the mail, the letter that accompanies it says to return it go to their website and get a Return Merchandise Number - they will NOT accept it withOUT that number. Well needless to say, the website contains no such information but gives you a toll free number to call, but reading on it states that it can take up to two weeks to get the RTM number - now that in itself is weird! I called today and the line was busy all day long!!!!

Oh, also on their website is about a two page letter stating all the legal things that they will do to you if you don't return the merchandise in 30 days and/or refuse to pay for it.

The company's name is " glow " - website is glow.com - alias "iQ derma" don't go there. It is a ripoff and will cost me at least $100.00 before I really get pissed!!!!!

Their address is 28516 Livingston, Valencia, California 91355

Oh, the stuff gave me a rash under my eyes and made my eyes water, that is why I am trying to return it!

To receive authorization for a return, please contact glow Customer Service by dialing our toll-free number at 1.888.321.GLOW (4569) to process returns on domestic orders or 310-683-0951 for international orders. Please allow up to two weeks for the return to be processed, at which time a credit or exchange will be made. If you wish to inquire about your return please call Customer Service at 1.888.321.GLOW (4569). Our hours are M-F 7AM-4PM Pacific Time.
Their policy, reprinted above, says nothing about getting the return number in two weeks. It says the return, once they receive it, can take up to two weeks to process.

What ever method you use to return it, make sure you get proof of delivery.

If you can't reach them by phone, send an email to service@glow.com
explaining that no one is answering their phone, and that you desire authorization to return the product.

Keep track of all correspondence.

Thanks Donna,

You did not order from them, I hope!?

Anyway, the letter that came with the product says that the RMA and pre-printed return label are available on line ----- lie!!!!!! You have to call their toll free number to receive the RMA.

Anyway, thanks and I will post how all this comes out!

Virginia I thought you had attained the wisdom that comes with age to avoid buying stuff on line from folks you don't have good reason to trust.
