I've grown used to my wifes weird tastes in food but she toped it all tonight. She fancied Sausage and Sauerkraut for dinner well nothing wrong there but when she came in with a glass of Eggnog I knew this wasn't going to end well.

Despite my warnings she finished dinner and the Eggnog. All was fine for about an hour then she vanished into the bathroom, where it seems she's taken up permanent residence. After asking if I could get her the portable DVD player all she could whimper was "I'll listen to you next time".

I'm glad we have two bathrooms.

And she thinks Steak and Kidney pie is weird.

I have seen this sort of behaviour before concerning a certain happy event. My wife's foible was plates of fried onions and Guinness. Who needs television?

That doesn't seem terribly odd. I'm surprised she needed to spend so much time in the bathroom though. What was in that eggnog?

What is it about Sausage and Sauerkraut this time of year?

When we went up to out daughters for Thanksgiving, there was, among various (other) appetizers, a crockpot with Sausage and Sauerkraut, and a pot of potato soup. I think it was her in-laws' idea.

Sadly it can't be that as my wife can't conceive due to an injury while at Tang Soo Do many years ago.

I think that's the last time she'll be buying store brand eggnog.
