James Bond actor Daniel Craig has dressed in drag for a short film about sexual equality made to coincide with International Women's Day.
The film, available on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkp4t5NYzVM is directed by "Nowhere Boy" film maker and artist Sam Taylor-Wood and features the voice of actress Judi Dench in the style of "M," her spymaster character in the Bond movie franchise.

What an excelent little file, makes the point very well, and powerfully without being sanctimounious (?) I think if a few more men could walk a while in womens shoes then maybe they would see life differently - I know I do. On a much slighter point, nice dress and he wears it well, not so sure about the wig

Some interesting comments, especially when they start to talk about women worldwide. It's always tempting to think that women in the rest of the world, with the exception of places like Afghanistan, have as much equatlity as they do here. But they don't. I had a friend who just spent a year in Argentina. Although rape is technically illegal there it's rarely prosecuted, unless of course it involves a poor perpetrator and wealthy victim. In other cases it's generally considered the woman's fault.
From a crossdressing perspective, it's very interesting to see the James Bond body language and walk in a man dressed as a woman.

I have always agreed with equal rights. What do you do though, when a culture still treats women like chattel. In some of these places if you wanted to crossdress, the best jewellery to hang around your neck would be a cow bell! Change can come very slow.

Separate, but equal isn't so equal either.
