Yep, pretty amazing, every now and then we have a bird fly into our patio windows, but what seems worse is when our cats run into them not realising they are closed

Looking closely, you can see the legs in attack position. I reckon it saw it's reflection and thought it was another owl.

Growing up we had a large living room window. Several times a year a bird hit it.
