Just an odd observation... Yesterday I was around a group of teenage boys, and I just noticed how big their feet were. Not just one or two of them, but all of them. They dwarfed mine!

UK 8 is not big! I actually have trouble sometimes getting safety boots that small! It does seem that most of my daughter's teenage friends have larger feet than my generation, if that means that more fashionable but "street wear" shoes are available for girls like us then all to the better.

It seems that each generation is getting bigger, and it would appear that it is evident in shoe sizes, more and more mainstream shops in uk are starting to stock size 10 womens shoes
