Just an odd observation... Yesterday I was around a group of teenage boys, and I just noticed how big their feet were. Not just one or two of them, but all of them. They dwarfed mine!

I asked one of them what size shoe he wore, and he replied "14". All I could think about was how difficult it would be for them to find women's shoes if any of them were CDers. I wear a 12 in US women's shoes, and that is difficult enough!

makes me be thankful for my 9, 9 1/2, sometimes 10 womens!

Same for me also 9W, shoes easy to find the wide is what hard.

Ive always had a bit of a complex about my feet, cos they look big to me . Yesterday we had a social worker here who commented....

"youve got small feet?!"
umm i do? i said.
She then said 7 or 8?
i answered "both lol, i wear either".
She said "yes theyre small, I thought so, cos I used to sell shoes haha".

Thats never happened before. Ive been staring at them all day now... they still look big to me.

UK 8 is not big! I actually have trouble sometimes getting safety boots that small! It does seem that most of my daughter's teenage friends have larger feet than my generation, if that means that more fashionable but "street wear" shoes are available for girls like us then all to the better.

It seems that each generation is getting bigger, and it would appear that it is evident in shoe sizes, more and more mainstream shops in uk are starting to stock size 10 womens shoes

I am happy with my shoe size of 7-1/2 or 8.
