Entrepreneurship in Las Vegas

Well, as many of you know I live out here in Sin City and have had some interesting situations in the past. The odd thing is, while my most worrying decisions tend to be my biggest, they also tend to have the most positive results.
For example, at the end of July I moved out of my sister's, her and her husband proceeded to burn bridges, blame me for them and then tell me they could fix it all. Needless to say I'm more than fed up with it all, but I digress. Today, I live in an apartment with a coworker (he's also an ex-stripper of all things) life has improved ten fold! About 6 weeks ago I had this idea to start my own business, more specifically a bar! With my coworker/roommate as my business partner we are well on our way! At first he was unsure of what to expect, but having seen the business plan, the sales projections and all the work I've put into it he's more than on board.

I feel like I've turned my whole life around! Living with family, every idea was shot down or insulted, living with my best friend we're on our way!
And it will of course be LGBT friendly!

Hi Eureka , welcome back.

Good to hear things are looking good for the future. Best of luck with the bar.

Gone full time yet?

Welcome back Eureka, good luck in your venture. May I suggest you advertise your LBGT friendly policy. It works here as I have friends who trade on it.

Best wishes

Eureka, welcome back.

Your post reminded me of something I heard years ago.

Do you know the easiest way to keep one crawdad in a bucket? Put another one in. With one in the bucket it will try to escape. With two or more if one tries to escape the others wil pull it back in.

It sounds like you have escaped from the bucket and getting on with your life which is great.

Hope it all works, when self employed the boss is a bastard, there's no time off, no paid leave, no pension, and no one else to blame, - it's great!

WOW! For me, starting a business has got to be way scarier than coming out to anyone.

Having a business plan tells me you are of the correct mind and likely to have the right skills to give that new business the proper start and continued management it will need. Good luck!
