Haven't heard from her here in a while.....

I miss CJ as well , and she wasn't even properly here most of the time I've been around. You only have to look at past posts to see what we've been missing.

There do seem to be quite a lot of former active posters - producers of good content - who don't seem to come back. That happens on all groups - I don't know if it's got anything to do with the TG thing but it seems worse here than on non-TG's ones.

Might be time for a bit of an update.

I'm doing all right. I miss a lot of my sisters here. True, I don't pop in as often as I used to but I'm never too far away.

I've had a bit of an eventful year. I switched "careers" after having found the naked body of one of my clients on her bedroom floor last spring. She had committed suicide by taking all her meds.

I realized it was time for me to scan new horizons for gainful employment. Last May, I started my own translation business and have been doing fairly well at it, too.

I've been exploring other online forums--not CD-related--and have been having fun making new friends. One such forum is up here, in Canada, and it's been a great outlet for me these past few months.

I haven't been CDing all that much these past couple of years--lack of libido, lack of opportunity, and Roxanne's need for a public life beyond reproach. Odd, when you consider I work mostly from home now--you'd think it would be a great occasion to dress up and be fully frilly.

No purge, though. I still have all my girly stuff (I learned my lesson a long time ago). I sometimes underdress (it is winter, after all!).

I promise I'll try to visit a little more often.

Sorry to disappoint, SL... I canned my FB account last week. I'm now officially Facebook-free. I only ever used it (mostly) to play Bejeweled Blitz, anyway.

Hi CJ! Glad to see a post from you, and to hear life is treating you well. I was thinking about you last week while trying to decide whether or not to archive the photos I took while in Montreal. Theay are not all that great, but a few are worth keeping, I think. Hope life continues to be good for you.

HEY!! not much internet time lately but some good focus going on and CJ! great to hear from you and that experience sounds heavy...I will always wish for you to have the lightness of being that you know you can have and I hope your work change pointed in that direction---translating is probably a great fit as I remember your communication skills and poetic sense shines in your written posts...Best wishes to you all and hopes for a spring full of power and prettiness!!!
