Since cars were one topic mentioned, I thought I bring this question up. It's been nine years and I'm getting about due. Again this time around, I want something that says "girl car". Currently I'm in a red Cougar. Any ideas? Ford product preferred (I'm on a discount plan)

The MX-5 Miata also is a cute “girls’ car” (especially when it has a girl in it).

I think the vw bug with rag top is a great girl car and with the turbo diesel it will get 55mph with all the get gone power you could ask for. Gee.

I thought the same thing, the VW Bug convertible,
I feel it a "girly" car because...............
how many cars come with a vase to put a flower in, this is the only car that I know of that does (very "girly" )

Well, for a Ford product that screams "girl car", I'd go for the Mustang rag-top with a V6, at my University it is very popular with gals. Plus a completely new model will be offered in 2005 that I think is great though I'm not a fan of most Ford offerings.

You could opt for that or get a great deal in the fire-sales of 2004 models that will occur in June-August before the model change-over in Sept-Oct and the 2005s arrive on the lots.


Other chick car options:

PT Cruiser (cute and practible)

Mini Cooper (cute and good value)

Honda Civic (reliable if boring)

2005 Chevy Cobalt (new for 2005)

VW Bug or Jetta ( both cute but bad reliablity as of late)

BMW Z4 (sporty, cute)

Ford Focus (updated in 2005 and cute)

Mitsubishi Eclispe (sporty)

Hyndai Tribuon (sporty)

we just want a reliable car to get us where we want to go (to the mall )

Well the car subject is kinda a close one for me , and I wont bother everyone with my few Cindy car pics,,, but it seems many favor the convertables so far. I worry about the wind and wigs some LOL and am not one that wants to draw attention. But My next car I think will be the Chrysler Cross- Fire,, the name alone fits my hobby :-))) And I can imagine a valet helping me out for a entrance to a nice resturaunt .
If I had a little more time I would search for a pic of that car,, but its as sexy as any lady !!!

I'm sure what the real "girl car" ranking my new car has, but it passed the spousal approval test.

It's a sangria red 2004 Ford Focus wagon that's almost a month old. It's the replacement for a 12 year old Ford Escort wagon (the same shade of red) that got too expensive to pass inspection. I liked the Escort wagon, but the test drive of the Focus was really positive - the few things I really liked the least on the Escort were all improved - a little roomier, higher, better visibility, peppier engine, back seats that truly did fold flat for a large cargo area (all the better for hauling shopping loot and things on trips).

We had to take delivery in April to get a hefty rebate, so we chose the red one from the dealer inventory. My wife would have preferred to look over more color choices, but it ranked highest on my list, and all of the other ones had even more options that we didn't really want.

One option that a couple of my wife's friends cars had was heated seats, and that was a very low cost option. She feels the cold, and that will make Buffalo winter rides nicer (the option includes heated mirrors - NO SCRAPING them in the winter ). To get the cruise control (my arthritic right knee is going to really be happy on the couple of times a year we go on relatively long trips) and cargo cover, we had to get a package that included a tachometer - my first car with one. Several people said that I'd probably like the fog lights when I need them. We got antilock brakes, another first for us.

The one option it came with we wouldn't have ordered was one I'm not going to have any problems living with - leather seats.

I'm also having no problems getting used to the keyfob buttons to lock/unlock and open the doors and rear hatch. On the Escort the locks were starting to wear out - the key didn't work in the hatch for several months.
