Of the members of our little community here, which CD really hits the nail on the head for you?

Which of our bretheren just encapsulate your image of a "woman" and have really touched your soul?

For me I must say....

Beauty (for her image and inner soul)
Stef (for her vivaciousness and openness)
Vicki (for her desire to make you think)
Danielle La Belle (for her commintment and challengness)
Gavin (proud and true, to the bone)
Alexandra (for being who she is, without fear)
CJ (for being a true and sweet person)

Now, please realize I am not trying to single out certain people over others, those listed above have just touched me in a certain way.... I truely feel all the members here are worth more than anything... a GREAT bunch of people, who I feel very fortunate to have experienced

Also... I am just thinking in terms of CD's. SO's have been excluded from my comments... cause you SO's are in a class by yourselves.....

If you ask nice I will give you my SO touchers of my soul.....

Thank you. :)

You're right about not singling anyone out. We have a great, supportive and loving family here.

Thanks again Shannon for your positive post!! @@9@@

When I first saw your question, Shannon, one--and only one--came to my mind: Beauty. It isn't that others here are without merit--Beauty's just the kind of tgirl you'd bring home to Mom.

Hi all:
How do you pick anyone out of a group like this?
Who's idea was it to start this group??? Shannon
Beauty, always seems to be there when needed
Steff, What an entrance
Deborah, always a fount of knowledge, and seems to have refferences and even the chaper numbers right at hand.
These are just the ones that come to mind, but you ALL have helped me along this rocky path.
Hugs to all, Bonnie

That is a great list, and I totally agree, and for the reasons you say. Here are a few I would add and a few other reasons for some already on your list..

Darlene(for her refusal to ignore reality)
Sally(for her confidence and "at ease with herself")
Deborah(for her style, wisdom, and grace)
Beauty(for her abilty to openly love)
Stef(for her proud display of who she is, and willingness to help others)

I didn't mean to slight anyone, because so many have answered my posts that have been helpful and insightful. If I did not include you, it is not because I didn't want to, just because I couldn't include everyone.

Love to all,
Elizabeth

Thank you Elizabeth,

I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge a gift that I have seen in you. You have a real genuine gentleness about you, It is hard for me to envision that you might have a mean bone in your body. You are very gentle in your messages.

As for the others I am sure many will receive recognition for there varied gifts, And some have impressed me more than others, but that is only because of where I have been at that particular time that they impressed me. As I move on in my journey I am sure I will be impressed by others.

But those for whom I hold the highest respect Are those who come here demonstrating a willingness to benefit from this place. Some of those who have stood out to me are CDkathy, Aislin, Gelinda, Kersten Lee, Sandra, and of course Elisabeth.

There are more of course, but those are the ones that I have noticed. I also acknowledge that there are those who will come along and read the posts well after they have been written, who will be helped and we may never know who they are. But I especially appreciate those who get involved and there by make it happen. Thats what teem work is all about. No one person can do it by themselves, we need each other.

Hi Sharon and everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Shannon, Bonnie, Elizabeth and everyone so much, I hope I'm helping in some small way.

When I first read the topic I have to admit that Beauty came to mind . She is such a warm caring soul who always has the right words of encouragement and support for anyone who needs it.

Shannon, it was your and Sharon's vision that has made this place so welcoming and helpful to all of us!

There are so many others here that always have their shoulder ready for a sister to lean or cry on whenever needed plus they are a wealth of knowledge so willing to share at anytime!

Lastly, all the sisters that ask the questions that others are thinking but are afraid to ask! It's because you ask the questions that others are helped! If anyone that reads this has a question, please ask it! Please share your feelings also, I'm sure there will be someone that reads it and thinks "I feel that way too! I thought I was the only one!"

Thanks to everyone that posts here, each of your are special to me!

Hugs,
Stef

Ok, so i totally missed the question in this.. LOL. I was hoping you'd say it was you "just talking out loud". :)

This is a tough one, because there are so many.

This is not necessarily in order. I purposely moved them around so I would reflect favoritism. !!tongue!!

Lorna (because she was there at the beginning of my acceptance. Despite the Long Island affect she showed me that I can get out there any time i want)
Shannon (for starting this forum and for starting to open up to see the beautiful person you are also for introducing me to the love of your life who is now someone who has taken over the duties my early childhood and first best friend, who was also a GG, vacated decades ago :))
Alexandra(for being a spit fire gal who'll be there anytime for you and for showing you can be a CD'r and still be creative, productive and supportive)
PennyT(for always being so honest, thougtful and caring)
Kathy(for telling her mom and for laser hair removal)
Julie(for breaking me out of a non-dressing slump)
Dannielle(for her Vulcan like wisdom and Venusian ability to love)
Gaven(for the ability to think androgynous)
Julie M(for her openness and honesty and inquisitive mind)
Sally(for her INCREDIBLE wisdom and her ability to love so very much)
Rikki(because she helped me understand what living as a CD'r really meant, her patience, plus her wisdom and wit)
Darlene & Deborah (our twins - for always giving support in almost always the consistency and for making this place fun! - Got Jung?)
Jessie(for her youth and inquisitiveness)
CJ(for her ability to bring out the best in others)
Jamie Ann(for her always informative links about the inner self)
Carol Ann(for her openness and honest. Especially about the moving situation)
Cindy Barnes(for her experiences and her loving openness)
Kyra(for her pretty little face and witty/creative mind and her wife's pretty little face and because those two here together are two beautiful little cherubs who light this place up together)
Sharon Rose(truly my only, in real life, CD'd friend that I've met. She is a loving and warm as she is pretty and petite)
Elizabeth(for sharing with us the most traumatic moments of her life and showing how acceptance isn't a hit or miss thing, it's very not ordinary)
VickiCD(though new she's definitely given my lots and lots to think about internally)
Celia (she's always so positive on the forum, she makes me giggle and laugh, but has been so supportive for so many in a serious capacity)
Jadeanne(for her direct posts that have given me support and supported others. Also, who can forget her "What Are You Wearing" thread)
Cami(for your innocence. Meaning your inner soul. It's so beautiful, it comes out without you even trying)
Anita(for always being supportive and loving. A great listener too)
Josey(for always being a beacon for positivity and support)
Bernice(for one of the most loving hearts ever!)
Yvonne(another gal who has just been everywhere (internally) and has provided so much wisdom here and on her site.
TerryGal(for being open and honest. she has always was supportive of others on the CDDF and has done the same here)
Stef(ok, so i saved this one for last. :) OMG What can you say about a gal as unique, beautiful, warm, loving, positive, and open as you are. What an entrance, thank goodness you didn't leave. :)

If there is ANYONE I've forgotten it's because the support is so incredible here I think I'd have to go through our hundreds of members. Ok, that's not the real reason. That was fluff. If I forgot it's because I'm stupid. In my soul I didn't miss one person. You've all touched me so much.

The bottom line is I love you all here. You're all what makes this place incredible.

=D> To you all!!! =D>

Beauty, Honey.
WHAT YOU SAID GIRL! ROCK-ON!
Just to reiterate all the ladies who post here - They have done more for me that most will ever know. We have all had our "dark hours" stumbling around trying desperately to find out "what the hell is going on with me?" and then a light, like the move "Ghost" at the end where Pat S. goes into the light. There are all my sisters- helping hands, empathic, caring, loving, guiding with love and intelligence. Thanks God for all of you!
Now you've done it again, you got this blond crying again,
Love you all,
Deborah

Darlene, Deborah, Elizabeth, Beauty... you have all touched my soul in ways I had forgotten were possible. And in such a brief period of time.

Shannon, as others have said, for making this possible.

Hi all,

I've learned much about what it means to be who I am from my contacts with all those of you gentle souls whom I've already met through e-mails or chats or through the simple pleasure of reading your posts. I'm very thankful for this. I look forward to continuing to do so as I get to know all the new members.

One standout: Beauty. For her patience, her kindness, her openness, her honesty, her integrity, her wit and, above all, for her beautiful soul. She may not be aware that I feel this way, but she's had a major impact on my way of looking not only at myself but at the world in general. Thanks, mademoiselle.

Also, Kyra, for reasons she knows well enough.

Love,
CJ

O well I quess you have to be here forever and be part of the inner circle to count and not be a pain. Just like High School you have to be part of the click.

I will not answer so not to hurt others that do not get mentioned in this one thread.

Gelinda.

How could you possibly just choose few? Nah, that's impossible. Everyone who have the courage to live their lives as they wan't to, impresses me.

So, I guess that includes all of you.

When I first read this thread, I thought, what has shannon done? This is going to lead to someone getting thier feelings hurt, or being left out. But after carefully rereading her post I realised that what she was trying to do, was to reccognize those who had personnally moved her. She also wanted to present an outlet for others to do the same. It was in this spirit that I offered the names I did.

Of the people that I mentioned, I don't feel that I am part of any special cliche` with them. Other when I was suicidal I have not even got any pm from any of them. There are over 500 registered members, and on any given day you can hear from a variety of them. I have mentioned the ones that I recall taking the most interest in me, or in issues that I can relate to. But I know I have left out many, not because this is a cliche` where we all pat each other on the back, but because I have got so many responses that I just could not mention everyone that helped me. So I mentioned those who have been here the most since I have been here, which has only been about a month or so.

Please don't take offense, I know in time you won't feel this way, and I am sure everyone will be here for you, just as they have been for me, but don't be surprised if they are not the same names that I posted. :)
Love always.
Elizabeth
