public humiliation or was it
Hi girls ,
Heres something from my early teenagehood that I wish to share with you all.
Anually I would be treated to a holiday at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast , this was my fifth trip there and the place was like my second home to me.
One afternoon we visited an attraction called " Jack Evans pet porpoise ",
this was my favorite ,it was a mini seaworld show with porpoise ,seals and man eating sharks.
Jack Evans was a comical host and during the show he would encourage young females to walk out on a plank over the porpoise pool and hold a feeding stick in one hand and Jacks hand in the other.
Jack would pick reluctant girls from the audience and since there were never any volenteers , he would pressure the girl of his choice until she agreed.
( I think you know whats coming )
How about that girl there , " yelled Jack ", no reply ,
everybody looked around at me , " yes you in the green yelled Jack "
"but I'm not a girl" I yelled back , in excess of 300 people laughed at me and a red faced Jack Evans said " ooh sorry cant tell the differance these days ".
After the show I felt like a celebrity walking out and quite good , any other boy would have been devistated by the remark but not me.
Mind you my father took me for a good haircut soon after.

Hi all,
Hi Merinda (pleased to meet you, by the way!),
My take on the event? No, it wasn't humiliation because I don't think Jack singled you out as a girl on purpose. What a thrill that must have been for you, though (despite the fact the event led to an emergency haircut).
Usually, we're humiliated when someone intentionally tries to embarass us. I think that many crossdressers will sometimes humiliate themselves (and enjoy it, to boot) out of their conflicted desires to show the world who they really are without necessarily stepping out of the closet fully. I know I've done it. But, aside from a few episodes with a very zealous SO a few years back, I've rarely been publicly humiliated.
Here's a question for you. How would you react if such a thing occured today? if someone in a huge crowd very publicly mistook you for a woman? (I suspect you wouldn't necessarily be running to the nearest barbershop/hairdresser afterwards, eh?)
Love,
CJ

In answer to you question , the last time I was mistaken for a woman was in february 2000 when I would get around with my hair in a ponytail .
My wife and I were browsing in a haircare shop when the shop assistant came and asked, " can I help you ladies ", no thanks ! , " well if you ladies need help just ask " .
This was not uncommon it happened from time to time , my wife blamed the ponytail , the longhair was eventually cut later that year and any CDing would require a wig from then on ( hard decision ).
Unless I am made up as Merinda I cant see myself being mistaken for a woman these days .
My photos in the album section are at maximum limit at the moment but when I decide to change them over I will feature at least one old photo of myself CDing with my natural hair in pigtails.
lots of love
Merinda
