As we celebrate this day, each in their own way, lets give thanks for, and remember those who can't be with their families today because they are serving their country on the armed forces, some of them in dangerous hostile areas. Also, remember those brave men and women who protect and serve us in the many law enforcement and fire stations throughout the land.

The turkey is cooked and smells just grand
Their is ham to with potatoes and dressing
Setting the table I'll lend a hand
Let's all be seated and quiet for the blessing.

Pass it all around for all to share
Even the adults at the kidde table get by
Don't overdo the stuffing take care
You have to save room for pumpkin pie

What a day it is with family at hand
Talking and joking and remembering why
We are so thankful to be in a land
Where we are free to live under a clear blue sky.

Sorry all it was a total bust for Carol Ann, as the wife was getting up to give me a hand in the kitchen she fell and broke her leg. So our family TG was spend in the hospital and Carol was really going to doll it up when everyone was here
