Another Movie

Just before the holidays I was able to do another major motion picture. It was the first time doing a flim that I did not wear my own clothes. I was an Air Force Lt. Colonel at a gala in Siagon in 1973. kind of ironic since I was an army medic in Nam, 1969. It was an all night shoot (5pm-5:45am). Depending on what shots they use I should be in a couple of scenes, but you never know. I heard it was a King Kong movie, but can't figure out how King Kong fits into Viet Nam in 1973. I am try to get more info from friends who were on the set. A long night but met great people again and still fun.

Nice Olivia you'll; have to keep us informed and let us in on the name of the movie so we can see if we can catch a glimpse of you. The closest I ever came to movies was one time I met a guy who worked as a gaffer on movie sets lol.

Wow, that's neat Donna. What did u do? Funny, in 73 I was out if work with a toddler and a pregnant wife and went to an Air Force recruiter. He looked at my DD214 and said he couldn't take me. I asked why and he rattled off my reenlistment code. I asked what it meant. Again I asked what it meant. Again he said he couldn't take me. So I stood up, grabbed the card out of his hand, and said, "I didn't want to join the f***ing Air Force anyway." I think the#'s meant this man's crazy and don't let him back in anywhere.
