The computer has been cleaned and is opperating OK for now , so please disregard yesterdays message .

I did a photosession the other day labeled " Mandarin Merinda " , an orange top with black Bratz kids skirt , hope it worked out .

I went to a local shopping centre today , every womens clothing shop had pink and black items for sale , " pink is really in" .

An article in the Herald-Sun newspaper of a well known regular on " The footy show" fully crossdressed , the article raised the question of why this trend is increasing with footballers.

"Been there done that" - I had to make a decision too, pay $250.00 for a good computer clearing then but extra hardware to stop all the junk, viruses and "spybot" or buy a new unit that is clean and about 10X faster for another $200.00. I opted for the latter and so far it seems to be working. I keep getting little messagers that such and such a virus or spybot has been blocked and I get very few pop up ads now. And I can talk to all my girl friends here a lot better. Glad your back.

Hey Merinda,

Glad to see you back. I hope your computer holds out. You certainly don't seem stressed out by it. When my computer goes on the fritz it totally stresses me out. Anyway, I look forward to you usually upbeat posts.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Merinda,

I'm glad that you're back. I can't wait to see the pics of Mandarin Merinda.

It's a very good idea to run antivirus software and keep the virus definitions updated. I also run Adaware and Spybot Search And Destroy (free downloads) on a regular basis and check for updates each time I run them.

Deborah,

I think you made the wise choice in buying the new, faster computer. For some of the older computers, parts can be difficult to get easily for a decent price, not to mention labor rates. I hope you enjoy it and it serves you well.

Jadeanne mentioned downloading a free software for protecting your computer. One that I use and seamt to work pretty well is Ad-AWare 6.0 I down loaded it from download.com. Every few days I run it and get rid of all the stuff that getts added to my compouter. I also use norton antivires.

OH yea is just me but I find the pink kind flashy to much 80's for my taste.

Hi Merinda,

Good to see you back with us again. I saw a reporter said the other day in the Herald Sun that the public were getting sick and tired of seeing footballers in drag, well I suppose he's entitled to his opinion, but I don't believe there are more doing it today than ever, they just get more publicity, which is lovely to see.

Also, in todays, Thurs 5/8, Herald Sun there is an article on page 29 about a woman who is taking action against her boss for humiliating her in front of her workmates with offensive comments about her gender. Naturally the company, share registry firm Computershare have denied it but he constantly referred to her as ' a gentleman ' at staff meetings and on the workshop floor. His remarks spread to other staff who used offensive remarks regarding her gender too, so hopefully the law will take its' course at the conclusion of the legal proceedings.

The woman is quite open publicly about her sexuality and describes herself as neither heterosexual or homosexual and as the sex discrimination act says, we must not be discriminated against by words or actions regarding our sexuality etc, and all are entitled to live and work in peace.

It's good to see our anti-discrimination laws working, we fought long a hard for them, hopefully this will cost her boss bigtime.

Kind Regards.

Sally.

P.S. Pink is always in, in this neck of the woods. lol. but the new seasons fashions and colours are wonderful.
