Yes, it has been a year now.... damn... I am getting old.... Where did my youth go????
Anyhow, I am SO VERY HAPPY this forum has taken off, and again, as I say so many times, it is all because of you ALL... the members.
I actually consider Aug. 9th to be the birthday for this forum... Sharon and myself joined Aug. 4th and that is the day it became "on the web".... but Aug. 9th was the date Danielle joined and made this a place with people.... so that is the day the forum was born in my mind.
So to all, THANK YOU so much for joining, participating and caring about the members here.... This forum has ended up being NOTHING like I expected or wanted, it has turned out SO MUCH BETTER....

Hi all,
I don't often respond to these kinds of posts, because I am not one who enjoys the big splash, with all the bells and whistles. There is simply nothing for me to enjoy about having a party, in memory of what has taken place. I need to find something about each day that I can enjoy, and/or celebrate. for my life to have the meaning I desire.
That is something I am able to do on a fairly regular basis here, and am grateful to those who make that possible. (to both controllers and members.) And that is just me.
Shannon Stated; This forum has ended up being NOTHING like I expected or wanted, it has turned out SO MUCH BETTER....
That means this place has a life of it's own, and that is a good thing.
