Comedy Show Update

The show went well last night, and a lot of my friends who had previously cancelled finally came down!
All the other comics and I did sort of get thrown off for 2 seconds because the stupid microphone kept cutting out. I was doing my "trying on Moms clothes in the bathroom at age 10" bit. Next time I won't tap the microphone so hard when I'm doing an impression of my dad knocking on the bathroom door!
The ladies room bit killed, as always. And they went nuts over the altrercation bit!!
There weren't too many laughs on the pig bit though, which is my closer... the closer needs to draw the most laughs, IMHO.
The beauty of it is I can always rearrange certain bits, add some, take some out - depending on the crowd itself.

I am so glad it went well. Nothing like a good performance to change ones outlook. I would love to see you act sometime. Maybe in the future I will return to Manhatten for a visit and get to see you.

Another thing I can do (hopefully soon) is get a video copy of my act - a friend taped last month's show with a digital video camera. I can hopefully then upload it up onto the web...

Absolutely!
I still have fond memories of my DJ days during the mid 90s, but years from now, these memories will be priceless!!

Lorna, sounds cool! Do you have the jokes wrote down that you can post here? I wanna know what the jokes are!

Hi Lorna,
That was an excellent description of the events. It really sounds like you're honing your act and soon you'll be ready to move on to other clubs. Which mean maybe soon you'll get paid and have requests for appearances!!!
We'll be able to say we knew her when!
