But I will say that Boston played very well tonight, as well as these past few games, and I wish them good luck in the World Series!! =D>

Hi Lorna--
What a series that was! I'm not a big Boston fan, but it was too much to expect them to dig out from an 0-3 hole. I was just amazed.

Someday, Cincinnati will be back in the series. Someday...

I renamed my friends house last night after the Yankees lost. There was naught but gloom in Mudville for sure!!! He has been a real Yankee fan since his early childhood, and unlike some of our mutual friends I do not give him a hard time over it. After all, I could care less about winners or losers in the business of baseball. I only told him about changing the name of his home from Chez Angelo to Mudville, and told him it would likely stay that way 'til the Yankee comeback next year. :) He really was not too amused, actually. :)

After all the years and opportunities, the Red Sox played the last 4 games better than the Yankees.

I am a Yankee fan, but they just didn't have the pitching this time. The Red Sox outplayed them and earned their way to the World Series.

In the National League, I would like to see the Astros make their first World Series.

The Cardinals just won. I hope this will be a good World Series, even without the Yankees.
