Last Board (edited)

Laid the last board on the floor this afternoon. A couple pictures are below. The tape keeps the boards from seperating until the adhesive cures. Gotta work on making the baseboards now.

Trying to match baseboard stain to flooring. Got a bit more experimenting to do.

I just looked in the photo gallery - those floor boards look excellent to me. Good luck on the baseboards.
Also - nice shoes in the 2 other new photos.

Looks like nice work! I am in the process of remodeling my forth and final HUD house. This one seemed like it would be the easiest, but turned out to be just the opposite, but it is coming around now and is beginning to take shape. Good luck with your project.

Hi Donna--
From one floor gal to another, I'm happy for you! Matching stains is one of the toughest parts of my job, and people really squeal when they see that part of the estimate. Sometimes it's a quick match, but when it isn't...I can spend hours on it.
Some places will rent you straps to take care of holding the boards together. If you have any more floors to do, you can consider getting them.

Thanks girls,
Yes, first floor, my wife and I, did most of it, my son helped at times.
My wife wouldn't let me wear my orginal heels, but I bought two more (and one more free) with a wider heel. Wearing one pair now, log in and see my photo album for todays picture.
