Hi Carol Ann,

Seems things are a bit wierd with the weather. We have had only a trace of snow in the past two days but it is now 51 degrees and raining here in northern Vermont with no snow in the forecast until early next week.

But we have enough snow already that the rain shouldn't wash it all away so we should still have a white Christmas.

Hope yours is a good one!

In Colorado it is a balmy 11 above for a high today and -7 for a low tonite. Iv'e been here 15 years or so and keep waiting for winter to come. Coming from Froste Bite Falls , we'd call this spring. We have about 2 inches of snowfall today, I changed my oil in my car in the apartment parking lot today. I guess it's just what you get used to. Back home the forecast for the low tonite is -32. A lot of Witches up there with insulated bras. Heh , heh A merry Christmas to All , Hope yours is a good one. Kristen ( Frostbite Falls is the only city in contenental U.S. that has a 100% chance for a White Christmas)

None and none present on the south west coast of Canada. Don't get much of that stuff here.

Merry Christmass.
Love Darlene.

Hi all,

Here in Buffalo, NY we have a couple of inches of snow on the ground and more is predicted for Christmas. Most of the time the large snow falls in the Buffalo are further to the south or north. I'm really beginning to appreciate my car's heated seats and mirrors.

Gee from what I have seen on TV you ladys are luckie :)
I will enjoy it for a little while as the temp will be going into the 50's after Christmas. Speaking of temp it was -11 this morning on the back porch luckie for me I have a very large hill out back which blocks the north wind but the wind is out of the south. Think I would like to be back in New Orleans today.Brrrrrrrrr (--) Carol Ann

HeHeHeHee My wish was granted. A white Christmas for y'all in Houston.

One thing about TX, unpredictable weather.

I remember one year we in Tyler for Christmas and had to be back to Fort Hood the next day. Wouldn't you know it iced all the way down there, but my wife and I made it back.

Hi all,

Our provincial anthem, here in Quebec: Mon pays, (c'est l'hiver)... My Country (Is Winter) by poet/singer/songwriter Gilles Vigneault (http://user.icx.net/~richmond/fgcgather ... eault.html) Yes, we have snow. In fact, there's a bit of a snowstorm as I'm writing this. For a peek, take a look at the downtown Montreal webcam: http://www.montrealcam.com/en-visitation.html

We actually haven't had that much snow yet this winter. But it's been very cold. Last week, for a couple of days, the temperature plummeted to -30 Celsius (-48, with the windchill factor). That would be, respectively, -22 and -54 Fahrenheit. Brrrrrr! Usually, the temperature's much milder when it snows and much colder when it's sunny and clear. Go figure. (Hey! "Sunny and Clear"... wasn't that some pop duo from the 60's or something? :P )

Bundle up, folks.

Love,
CJ

Hi all,

This is what it looked like early this morning on my front porch. Not too bad, I have to say.

The street itself looked like this:
