Jessie asked about this and I want to do it, but am just not sure about the best means....

Should we schedule "Chat Times"? What would they be? While I might want to chat Melinda is sound a sleep.... etc.... This forum has a strong world wide reach....

I was thinking today that maybe a new forum area in AREA 51, where anybody could post a time (with a little time warning) that they want to chat....

Kind of like you go in there at 4:00 pm EST and say "Hey everybody, I plan to be in the chat room at 7:00 pm EST on 1/13/05... Drop by if you want".....

Is this just a "blonde" idea????

The new chat room is great. I've already met a number of the members there and made new friends.

Shannon, I think your idea of posting available times ( ' area 51' ) in the forum is great. I would certainly use it.

The idea is good, but we've tried it so many times throughout the year plus we've been here that I think it's another effort that won't pan out. That's the only reason I answered Jessie the way I did.

So since I think we'd have the same results we did the last three times we tried to set up chat times and I recommend we just show up when we can?

Well, it may not work, but then again nothing ventured nothing gained.

Besides, the last time the effort was made the chat room wasn't as good as this one.

So Shannon, go ahead and set up area 51. Can't hurt to try.

I totally apologize if it sounded as if I was saying, "Why do it if it's failed before?" I honestly agree this is a much better chatroom and the results may be different. So why did I post what I said then? I wasn't sure anyone remembered.

I hope Shannon that you were going to set up the area you originally desired to set up and you know that I was just voicing my opinion based on the other times this hasn't been successful.

Again I apologize if what I said came off as negative.

Could we not revive the old post that we had about the chat times. Just a sort of HEY AT THIS TIME BLAY BLAY BLAY is a recomened chat time for all those who want to be there. It's sort of time I have seen on some web groups that mentioned that this time is the best to meet every one.

just a suggestion to have maybe one or two times where several people will come at once.
