Mordor: Gone but not forgotten (a tongue-in-cheek poll)
Hi all,
Here's a bit of fluff. In light of the whole Mordor Affair and Ahzz's quip about the Mordor moderator being called Sauron, I started to wonder which character you most identified with in The Lord of the Rings trilogy of movies. Do you recognize your own personality in any of the trilogy's characters? Here are a few choices, but feel free to choose another or to elaborate on your choice.
Love,
CJ

By the way,
I voted for Boromir. I think my heart is always in the right place even though I don't always manage to do right (by others or by myself). That, and the fact that I often feel I don't live up to my father's expectations made this an easy choice for me. I have to say, though, that there's a lot of Merry and Pippin in me (and maybe a bit of Gandalf and Frodo thrown in).
Love,
CJ

I'd rather be Arwen, Elf, the daughter of Elrond.

Mine came out

Legolas Greenleaf, Elf, a son of the King of Mirkwood.

She is not on your list but my choice would be Galadriel, Queen of Lothlorien and Lady of the Golden Wood.
She has great powers and wisdom. I love the idea that she can see into the minds of others. She is also very beautiful, mysterious and pure....

I did try those links Donna and I came out Galadriel.
So you came out Legolas....I think he's a real cutie in the movie...
CJ, I hope you don't mind but I added Galadriel to the list...

Odd!!! I voted for Arowyn, and that's what both tests showed, reluctant warrior (why can't we just all get along), wishing for more magic in the world. Thats me OK.
Elrond, the one who wanted to just leave and let the combatant fight it out rather than risk his family and dying race, was one of my favorite characters, but I liked the strange mixture of honesty and feyness of Galadrial too.

According to the second test, if I were a character in The Return of the King, I would be Smeagol. That is truly amazing — we even look alike.
Take care,
