Is it just me, or are there others who have problems reading the post/replies with the 'mauve' colored backgrounds? It would make the posts a lot easier to read if the background color was changed to something lighter, or possibly the text color over the background changed to a more contrasting color.

No it is not just you. I experience the same difficulty.

I'll use bold sometimes when I know it's going to appear in the mauve box and the post is long. Short posts I can handle.
