I (as many already know) am going on farrealy long vactation starting on thursday of this week. What I want to ask is how do you pack fem clothing. I am so used to just traveling with only a few items of fem that I do not worry about it. However this time I am planning some big things and am taking a lot more. First off space is not a problem as it is just me driving so I can take as much or as little as I need. What would you recomend that I bring on vacation. I would like any advice espcial on special packing techniques.

Well, I've not packed for a fem vacation, and if I did, even if I had the space, I wouldn't take a lot of things.

Knowing I would end up in a hotel, I wouldn't want to leave things in the car, so that calls for lugging everything to the hotel room. Space in many hotel rooms is limited.

So I would pack a couple of pairs of heels, and a couple of pairs of flats. Mix and match skirts (pants too if you wear fem pants) and tops.

A couple of nicer dresses for evenings out maybe, depending on what all was on the agenda.

A fem jacket for cooler evenings.

A weeks worth of hosery. If more is need there are plenty of stores to buy them.

A couple of purses that can go with everything.

A makeup bag with a lighted mirror, plenty of makeup and Noxzema for removing it, nail polish and remover, perfume.

Hi Jessie,

Donna pretty much covered it. But it all depends on how long you'll be away, and how many days and/or nights you plan to be enfemme while on vacation. But if you do, here are a couple of pointers:

- Pack your makeup in a soft compact case if possible, and try to avoid bringing more than you know you'll need. As for razors, shaving cream & lotion, I just bring 1 disposable razor, a small container of lotion & a small can of shaving cream.

- If you're planning on bringing pantyhose, what I do is I like to store them in Ziploc bags. They take up zero room that way, and they won't get snagged or run in your baggage while en route.

Blouses, skirts & whatnot can be kept in the same sort of hanging bag you would keep suits or a dress shirts.

- Shoes - well, I would not bring more than perhaps 2 pairs for a weekend, but again this depends on how many days you plan to dress while away.

Enjoy your vacation!!
