THE CURSE IS BACK

Let's see now...

Today, I:

1- discovered some VERY DISTURBING NEWS concerning my mother, my freeloading deadbeat sister & her deadbeat husband. My mother is IN A DAMN CAST and SHE has to do all of the work around the house. I spend all of my days off going over there, doing various jobs around the house just to help her out. Meanwhile neither my sister nor her husband are currently working. AND THEY DON'T DO JACK. They don't even pick up after their damn kid.

2- I fell down the damn escalator going in to work this morning, breaking my watch and ripping the sole off my right shoe. Not to mention ripping my best pants and scraping my leg (which WILL leave a nasty scar)

3- was forced to skip lunch (a reminder of how retail pays oh-so well - Who the hell needs to afford FOOD? The bills are paid! Just BARELY)

4- Someone stole 9 Diesel watches right out of the case right from under my nose. As a resuilt, I was placed on written warning.

5- I just had shouting matches with customers for the rest of the day, continuing yesterday's pattern of melees I had to deal with. I WORK IN A DAMN ZOO.

And now, after the SH**STORM I 've had at work for the past TWO days, I get to come home to a series of disturbing e-mails and even MORE disturbing posts about eveything ranging from Saturday plans to Monday's mixups, and of all absurd things... AVATARS. -,,- -,,- -,,-

It's days like this that I want OUT of my job, OUT of this community, and AWAY from the entire damn world. Leave me the hell alone.

Believe it or not Lorna we all have those days!

The trick is to rise above the hassles and get on with our lives.

Think of all the good things that really do outweigh the bad!

Hope your mood brightens soon.

Hi Lorna,

You know me better than that about leaving you alone. !!tongue!!

I'm so glad you survived a fall on an escalator. That was SO dangerous!!!! I'm glad you didn't lose an arm or a leg or get killed or break your neck. My eyes got so wide when I read that.

Don't forget cocoa butter for that scar when it has a scab and I'm sorry about your favorite pants.

Management sucks at times. What the F' about those watches? Don't they have enough store cameras everywhere to tell you didn't lift them? #-o Being written up bites, but I can relate when I worked in department stores. I remember managers and their attitudes, "I'm so important because I have a badge color" Actually, you're just like me except you get to blame your faults on me. #-o

Bad days suck! Sorry you had one.

I'll be just fine, ladies. It's not just work, it's the whole family situation, among many other areas where I have recently recieved very disturbing news. Everything came all at once, one blow after another, all in less than a week.

(I had too much fun on the 4th of July, and the forces that be decided that I had to pay for that.)
:?

I'm just going to take some time to lick my wounds for a bit and then my head will be clear again in a couple of days. I'll just have to deal with these issues ONE AT A TIME, pick my battles and know when to say "Hey! I don't care!"

It's just that when stress comes at you from ALL angles, it really messes with your head.
