During the Cardinals - Astros baseball game, the announcer said that most of the Astros are letting their beards grow, with the exception of outfielder Orlando Palmeiro, who according to the announcer, has had almost complete laser facial hair removal and only has one small patch left.
With the money they make, they can afford it better than the average person.
I wonder - how many other pro atheletes have had their beards or other body hair permanently removed?

I know some teams have policies regarding facial hair (i.e., no beards). The Yankees and Reds are 2 teams that come to mind. Can you imagine if they ever went to mandatory laser treatment? lol How about laser hair removal for some players on other teams such as the Red Sox (i.e. Johnny Damon)? lol
