Hi all,
I don't miss the old colors at all, So much easier reading the posts. A little harder reading the title of the posts in the search page though. Over all much better.

Hi,
LOL.. kind of funny. The site was hacked.

So it's not that we did anything necessarily.

Hacked

,
What are the odds of our personal information being used by an outsider?
For what it's worth I like the new color,

And here I thought you had been busy. LOL You could have taken credit for it Beauty. Is that all that happens when a site is hacked?
Carrol Ann,
I think the only thing that will protect ones privacy is our aliases. Even among ourselves there have been/are those with ill intent.

Maybe I'll change some of the colors so things can be viewed easier. But the blue goes...

Hello,
I've upgraded part of the site and think I've eliminated the ability for this to happen again.
The upgrade will continue throughout the next day or so while I figure out what's going on with some of the new controls.
We may lose things like chat, the gallery, or other things, but Sharon is a whiz at getting those things online.
Please be patient as the site goes up and down for a little while longer.

Hey! I have a half-slip that's this colour! Sort of a dusty, smoked salmon. Cool! I like it! Good job, Beauty and Sharon.
Love,
CJ

Ok,
Well, the site is upgraded. The Photo Gallery will be down for until we fix the bridge between it and the forum. Chat is up and running.
The colors are going to change to something else.
At least we're back and up to date with the latest and greatest version of the code.
Sorry for the problems.

Hi Carol Ann,
Thanks!!

It wasn't a fun Saturday that's for sure.

I started working on this early in the morning and didn't stop until like after 8pm last night. Thankfully I've got a great teammate and where I left off she team came in and cleaned up the place.
Does she rock or what?!?!?
There was one time yesterday when the site wasn't even reachable. That was the scariest part for me. I was like, "OMG! Sharon's going to kill me!"
The hack btw, because I love being politically incorrect, was the Nigga hack. In the theme where the site sits we saw a lovely entry called Nigga. It was a nasty one (annoying), but the user didn't make it into the database, so we were lucky there.
This morning we added a new feature so users who want to register have to put in a code. This will hopefully stop the bogus registrations we've had lately. These people take advantage of the last registered feature. At the bottom of the forum it shows the last person registered (approved or not) and these people hope users will click on that and see the website of the new user. If someone clicks on the website link they make money or sometimes hack into your computer.
If our new strategy doesn't work there are other traps out there.
